Project Management iPhone UsersI picked up an iPhone late last year, and I gotta tell you that I absolutely love it, which is surprising because I've loathed Apple for some time. It just works, period. And I'm definitely not getting paid by Apple to say this either. My wife and I both feel that the iPhone has positively impacted our lives simply by allowing us to stay connected with the things we're interested in online on the go. So with the pleasantries out of the way, how can you get the most out of your iPhone as a project manager?

Essential Aps
If you just picked up an iPhone, then check out David Finch's post on must have iPhone aps to stay connected. I especially love the fact that I can access my Google Reader from the phone, which has come in very handy while walking a crying around the house at night. Also, since joining Twitter, I've personally found twitterfon to be an invaluable free ap for the iPhone as an alternative to tweetie, which David recommends in his post.

Project Aps
If you're using 37signals' BaseCamp software as a service, I am in the process of building a business case for my organization to adopt the feed based project management tool myself by the way, then I came across this list of BaseCamp aps for the iPhone. You can also stay up with LouisvillePM from your iPhone by browsing it and creating an icon.

Travel Aps
If you're the kind of PM who has to travel a lot for your job, like say you're a consultant with a client in another part of the country, for example, then the iPhone applications talked about in this post entitled: Helpful iPhone Travel Apps should be your new BFFs.

So who here has an iPhone, and how are you using it? What aps can you add to these lists that people need to get?
