Our client, a non-profit membership driven organization in Lexington, KY is seeking an MIS Project Manager for their organization to manage an electronic database system, provide website management and database management services.

Specifically, the person selected for the position will provide technical expertise in the development of and project management / internal management for national electronic database system, which includes planning, development, implementation, administration and enhancements; provide technical support run statistical reports through database system, as well as assist in federal funding opportunities.

Will also manage the website, including content, forms and documents, maintenance, and development (calendars, databases, forms, documents, maps, presentations, links, surveys, state pages); perform maintenance, monitor website traffic, statistics and effectiveness, update and maintain the a directory and create and deploy small web applications.

Candidates should have the ability to design and administer databases, design and create custom reports, manage inquiry tracking software and provide reports as needed, conduct and analyze technology related surveys, and assist with web-based training.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience, along with experience with web-authoring and content management, basic fluency in HTML, cascading style sheets, web and form design. Must be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects, large quantities of information and meet deadlines, with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communications skills, ability to work independently and as a team member, with little supervision, and have proven database and organizational skills. Previous non-profit experience a plus.

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with membership, executive board and external stakeholders, as well as proficient decision-making skills. Must understand and participate in discussions relating to the goals and strategies of the national office and possess an advanced knowledge and skill in administrative procedure. Reports to Executive Director.
